Great Wall of China

lunchtime during sec 3 was great fun as we had the luxury of time to slowly trudge our way down to block 85 market and enjoy some chicken rice.. the stall where the freaking dude never fail to say 圣洁公义 or something to that effect.. come to think of it.. that guy is probably a homosexual paedophile~!! always so happy to see us...

lunch will be leisurely for us and thereafter.. there is the journey up the great wall of china's 100 flights of steps back to the school.. most of the afternoons.. it'll be for maths class with mr chikopek karaoke liew.. who will not fail to "forget" the name of our classmate.. tingpei.. or peiting.. wahahahahahhaa.....

of course.. these good times were to end with mr arsehole from gurnsey wickham... during sec 4.. tat dude was sure sticky about tardiness... KNN

AYG - Anglican Youth Games...Games of Yesterdaze...

not we're not talking about gasing, chapteh, yeh-yeh, or even hantum bola...
these were games our creative (yet suppressed) adolescent minds "invented" amidst our minimal pocket money and b-b-b-b-boring arvo classes....

here's my top 3 list:

1.T(o Kill a Mocking Bird) - Ball

No. of players: 2 seated on chairs / Weapon of Choice: 1 hard-cover book each, preferably no larger than A4-size / 1 x Tennis Balls / Chalk to demarcate the field of play. Think, tennis courts or ping-pong, only much smaller.

Stay tuned, more games and hours of mindless fun to come...anyone up for BUNDES?

are you clear or not?

back in the days where we had to trudge after lunch to BNSS for technical classes in our spanking white shorts, theory classes were ever so boring til we had to find our own amusement - we started counting and pre-empting our "beloved" teacher's "Are you clear or not"s at the end of every word of wisdom he imparted to us. At least, it gave us something to look forward to every week before practicals.

Hmmm on hindsight, maybe technical classes was a pre-empt to life at west plan (See posting below)

westplan

I probably still have some sawdust in my lungs from westplan. a few of us worked there during school holidays. some small factory churning out carpentry for office use.

since we are not certified for design works, we do the dirty job...senseless knocking on wood, applying rubber trimmings that never seemed to be designed to sit in properly without brute force, vacuuming a 2metre high gunny sack full of saw dust (knn, want to save money on gunny sack). Brutal.

Perks - educational tapes from bruce lee for selected ones, plenty of coffee breaks, especially during OT!, good pay in those hard times

Cons - health hazard, monotonous work, homo supervisor samsudin looking at you, super smelly after work.

anyway, good working experience I guess. Though I still haven't found any use for it. But good memories lah. Right bros?

"rule of the lift"

well...get into a lift and make sure you get your skull glued to the corners asap. Or at least glue to any of the side walls if all corners taken...if not..."BANG!!! BANG!!!"....

knnbccb, this rule was applied outside the lift as well...especially to our poor www. No, he did not invent the world wide web...well...he might had really invented it if not for the constant head bangs against the classroom concrete walls, courtesy of one overly-enthusiastic young gunners, who insisted on enforcing this rule everywhere. You know who you are.

anyway, good job bro! hahaha

sorry www, but entertained the team in a certain way. classes were so boring. Blame the teachers ok?
